On Wednesday night (10/1/08) the Murfreesboro City Planners gave a "thumbs up" to a request by FedEx to locate here. The international shipping corporation is considering building a 200,000 square foot structure on the Joe B. Jackson Parkway. If all goes as planned, the 300 upper income employees would be in the new facility by 2014.
